Aluminium Welding Electrodes

We supply Aluminium Welding Electrodes that are specially developed for a variety of welding applications. We source the Aluminium Welding Electrodes from well-known manufacturers in the domain who use the latest technologies for assured performance and quality. Besides, the entire range of cutting-edge Aluminium Welding Electrodes can be availed from us at very reasonable rates.

Features
  • Best for proof-fit joints
  • Rapid rate of solidification
  • Extruded flux-coating
  • For sheet, extruded and cast aluminium

Benefits
  • The extruded flux-coating speeds joining operations and expedites uniform work.
  • The alloy has a lower melting temperature than aluminum, which minimizes overheating, warpage and distortion.
  • Good control on bead-forming applications for butt or ‘T’ joints on aluminium or aluminium alloys.
  • Solidification rate is fast; ideal for beveled butt joints

Application Procedure
  • Clean joint area with stainless steel wire brush.
  • Butt joints, broken sections or cracks should be beveled to 60-80˚C. Leave a 1.5 mm to 3.2mm gap and maintain alignment of parts.
  • Use slight excess acetylene flame.
  • Melt a drop of flux onto beginning of joint continue heating, until flux liquefies.
  • Deposit alloy, using a bead forming technique.
  • Care should be taken not to melt the base metal.
  • Remove flux residues in warm water.

Technical Details
  • Size (mm): 3.2 mm
  • Bonding Temperature: 590˚C
  • Tensile Strength: 23 kg/mm2 (33,000 psi).

Note
  • For best results, use with EUTECTORFLUX 21.
